Norm 06 lamp: Yes or No?

I love Skandi design, it's fresh, elegant, simple and striking. Dalani has a Norman Copengahen sale and I've been eyeing the Norm 06 lamp for our kitchen/dining room. It has a super modern design but I have  feeling I won't get bored easily, and it looks like a flower!
I love love LOVE it in this room. It's so warm and the rustic vs modern feel.

And here I am asking for your opinion again. Lots of you voted about getting or not the yellow dress (the majority of you liked it and said yes but I still haven't made my mind) What do you think about this one? Should I go for it or look for something else?

Ideal Closet: baby edition

I have found my most loved Zara collection ever, but alas it does not come in my size! If you are a mom or a mom-to-be of a little girl you have to check the baby suff now, they even have a collection called Pink. They have denim, pique, lovely prints, bright colors but also baby pales.I'm a bit jealous of those of you who have a reason to buy these!
How can you resist?

Wedding Wednesday: antique rings

I'm a sucker for antique rings, I used to dream of a solitaire but now I'm off the idea, I love little diamond bands but I also love looking at antique beauties. Berganza in London's Hatton Garden has some real show stoppers. I'm usually drawn to a big colored stone in the middle and tiny diamonds all around, I know there is a name for this kind of setting but obviously my lack of knowledge is evident!

My fave is this 1920's sapphire Tiffany little number (well maybe not THAT little!). It's surrounded by diamonds and more sapphires in platinum and I can only fantasise of the amazing history this ring has. Swoon.

Roaring 20's

Have you seen the new Heart Home magazine? I collaborated again with a fashion feature and my brief was "Spring trends". The one I knew I wanted to work an outfit around, was the Jazz Era trend, the Roaring 1920's. I loved the idea of the Great Gatsby period, the fun and flirty jazz era.

I was inspired by all the designers who stepped out the catwalks with gorgeous 1920's inspired designs. The loveliest ones are the Gucci ones in my opinion. Frida Giannini did an incredibly work and perfectly captured the wild, fun and ubber sexy feel of that decade.

Being the collection so gorgeous and really red carpet worthy lots of celebrities were seen in these super fab frocks. Zoe Saldana and Camille Belle are just two of them. These ladies seem just out the jazz era!

Etro and Ralph Lauren also presented a 1920's inspired collection, lovely feathers, tassels and beautiful creations travel us back to the Great Gatsby era, I think I need a flapper dress!

Wedding Wednesday: Pinks and Oranges

Look at the first picture and tell me you don't absolutely love it, the laugh, happiness, love and the colors! This image inspired this post, this color scheme did actually. Orange and fuchsia work so well together and have bee recurring among many weddings. They reason I love it so much is because I find it as elegant as fun and flirty. Whimsical and incredibly pulled together at the same time, a perfect color combo for a wedding with personality!

Bathrooms galore!

Everytime I write a bathroom post I keep saying the same how "I would LOVE to have a roomy bathroom, light and airy". Obviously this is not the case so a bit of bathrooms eye candy today is going to brighten my day, hope your too! There's lots of white bathroom furniture I love in these and with the fabulous big sinks everything looks a bit better. I love funky details popping in classic bathroom suites, like a bold sun mirror, lovely colorful flowers, and fin prints. I'm also a big fan of white tiles (I have said that often!) and lovely bright color schemes. What is your dream bathroom?

Sunday Outfit: Special Edition

This is definitely my most special edition of my Sunday Outfits! This little  one is Marianna, my god daughter who came to visit me with her mom over the weekend. They live in Barcelona and I miss them lots, having them here with us was an incredibly experience! And how cute does she look? I told her she would be my special guest on the blog and she loved it (even though I don't think she knew what I was talking about!). She is wearing a super fashionable coat (wish I had it in my size) super comfy rolled up jeans and funky trainers (mint!) and my zebra scarf, which is now hers, I think it really suits her! oh yes and my little LV clutch, fun times!!

Three Floor fashion: you will love!

My lovely friend Colleen always send me some lovely new discoveries and this one is a pretty fab one! Three Floor Fashion has the cutest little dresses I have seen in some time. The scallop back has me drooling and the lovely colours make me really excited for the warm weather.

I'm thinking of getting this yellow little number. It's fun, bright and I love the shape. What do you think? Vote Yes or No and let's decide together!

Thank you all! Have a great weekend!!!
I'm going to have a great one with my lovely goddaughter and her mummy!

Vintage D. Porthault

I envy D.Porthault owners. Beds and bedrooms look so much better when they are dressed with these french luxurious linens. Don't you think? Over the weekend I became mildly obsessed by looking at vintage ones. Still pretty pricey and I am a bit in awe about used sheets but I couldn't not appreciate the lovely patterns and scalloped edges. The lovely Fallon snatched a pillow case on Etsy for $10 a couple of years ago, lucky lady!

Sunday Outfit

What a beautiful day we had on Sunday! I'm wearing what probably is my go to outfit for the weekend, work and pretty much everywhere! I love these skinny jeans from Topshop and the sweater works so easily! I'm very excited for this weekend. My 6 year old goddaughter and her mom are coming to see us from Barcelona and I literally can't wait! I'm taking the day off on Friday and planning to visit the London Eye, Hamleys and hopefully find other kids stuff to do in town. Can someone advice what else I could do in London with a little 6 year old girl?
