Outfits Recap

On this last day of the year I wanted to go back in time and recap all my outfit posts since I first started. You have all been incredibly gracefull and your comments about my Sunday Outfits, thank you! I'm not a style maven or an expert but I like to experiment in my way and the documentation of it has been a great exercise for me, thanks for allowing me to play with it.
Let's go then, travel in time.
Love love the green Anthro cardigan, I make it go with anything and everything in my wardrobe and has been an absolute saviour, plus this was the first of many jeans+top+cardigan, my staple! The crab dress is a fave of mine but unfortunatelly didn´get to wear it much...

Dresses galore, woo hoo, I love this time of the year (even in London!) My absolute crush was the black long dress, that saw me going from morning to evening without a wink.

Short month! No outfit post for the 1st couple of weeks, due to the summer holidays breaks. The second post marked the start of my love affair with lace, oh big crush!

One of my favorite months, now that I go back in time I realise that I don´t love ALL of my past outfits but what can I say, I do love all of September´s. The long Anthro skirt is fun fun fun but unfortunately difficult to combine, ideas? And the jean shirt and skirt are my TO-GO outfit for all (ok, almost all occasions).

an in between month, while I love the denim skirts and the individual tops, I don´t love getting dressed for the rain hence the so so outfits...

Some of my faves again (denim skirt, checked shirt, blakc boots, tomatoe top...), and lots of colors especially considering it´s November!

Sparkles and lace, and snow! Last bright month of 2010.
that was a lot of Helena for 1 post I think! Thanks lovelies, it has been a great adventure! Have a great one tonight and a fantastic New Year. xoxo

Top Shelf

Emily Weis has created a fab beauty blog called Into The Gloss and one of my favorite feautures (and I'm sure yours too) is the Top Shelf where stylish personalities share their beauty must haves and show us their beauty cabinets. Love checking these out and I always discover new to me products. The one I loved most was Jen Brill's, love that she loves Chanel. I think Chanel has the most wonderful packaging! And I love the Diptyque jar recycled, I use mine for my brushes too!

PS: I discovered Into the Gloss some time ago through A Lovely Being, thanks Fallon!

Bimba y Lola Online Shop

It's finally here, Bimba y Lola, the fab Spanish brand that all the "good girls" in Spain and abroad like, has finally launched an online store. Exciting times for those who don't live in the country. They ship all over Europe for now (I know many of my Americans friends love the brand so hopefully they have expansion plans). I love their leathers, they are soft like butter and come in an array of earthy colors.

My Stuff Series **Lanalou Style**

Lana is the sweet sweet lady behind Lanalou Style, a very very stylish South African blog. Lana always has something interesting to share, from great sweet recipes, to beautiful photography, but one of the things I like most is the showcase of places she goes and then shares with all of us, always the most precious ones!

Thanks Lana!

Spain by Lindbergh

We went to the hairdresser the other day and while browsing Vogue Spain, I saw these gorgeous photos.  It's a Spanish celebration shot by the super talented german photographer, Peter Linbergh.  I absolute adore this celebration of everything Spain has to offer: beauty, creativity, talent. From Penelope Cruz to the Flamenco dancer Eva Yerbabuena and from Antonio Banderas to Manolo Blahnik, there is lots to celebrate.

Merry Christmas!

N and landed on Wednedsay in Barcelona. So happy to be home! We were definitely lucky, our flight was one of the few that wasn't cancelled due to the snow in London and we had a quick and no problem flight.

Merry Christmas lovelies, wishing you and your families health, happiness and love. xoxo

Norman Jean Roy

This week I see a trend in the blog, Christmas, which is obvious and photography. Actual photographer crush? Norman Jean Roy.
I saw this beautiful photo of Blake Lively at the fab Dustjacket Attic and I had  to check the photographer. Beautiful.
Love LOVE the one one of Penelope Cruz, so artfully done.
