Maps are a great way to decorate your walls, don't you think? colorful maps, vintage maps, maps for kids, anything really will dramatically add a sparkle in your home. I love the idea of hanging a couple of maps in our living room. is this something you would do? I love what Paloma did!!
I love this first one, I think it would look great in a library or in a kid's room. Great way to learn a bit of geography too

I love to travel so I love decorating with maps (I have a few hanging in my office and even my kitchen). They seem to connect me to the world.

love this! my mom loves geography, so we've all been inspired to collect maps through the years. i love all the different national geographics that come with their magazine!

I think it's such a great idea! We have them in our living room in some vintage bronze frames. Greatway to add colour, and I agree, great conversation starter:)
ReplyDeleteI adore maps! I find them so intriguing... I think back to old, old ships and the extensive and beautiful maps that they would have on board. I love the one example you show of a single map separated into the four sections— a lovely touch.

A very fun and cool idea. I'd love to put little star stickers on all the places I've been...which means I should probably just get a map of the US, as I've been to most of the states and only a few different countries in the world.
