I bought a new rug for the living room and I'm absolutely loving it, it's made from sisal and I've wanted one for a very long time. It's a greenish shade and I think it really brightens the room. Sisal is a natural fibber very durable and found in many "exotic" (for me) countries. I think it looks classic and yet has a modern touch to it, a certain edge. Plus it works great in almost any space, don't you think?
I love the last picture. I want to live there, sit on that sofa drink green tea and read my magazines.
ReplyDeleteHave a nice Tuesday darling. My hayfever is driving me mad, it's too early for it to start no? x
I am a big sisal fan. I love how neutral it is and also it keeps my cat from picking the furniture. He picks the rug instead. :)

Besos guapa!

ReplyDeleteThey're all fabulous. I need a new rug...doing my living room over (in my mind, at least) and I've been contemplating rug options. I'm going to look into sisal. Thx for the idea, love :)
ReplyDeleteHope you're having a great week xoxo
I've been looking at sisal rugs for our new condo. Sadly, it does not have the wood floors I've been lusting after so we'll be needing a big one to protect the carpet!

ReplyDeleteI've always wanted a white couch... but with a sporty husband and an indoor dog, I'm afraid that dream will never be realised! Nevertheless, I have a cream Louis XIV armchair that neither one is allowed to touch - hehe x
