Recipe: Double Chocolate Truffles


These little chocolate truffles are perfect as a scrumptious companion to your after lunch coffee, you know which one I mean right? Or as a small indulgence mid afternoon when you crave something sweet. Or in the middle of the night when you wake up starving and need something quick. Anyhow, these little chocolate truffles are perfect any time any moment. They are not a light treat or anything like that, I won't pretend but these are the real deal. 

Ingredients (makes about 25)

200 ml single cream
200gr dark chocolate
200gr milk chocolate 
70 gr chocolate sprinkles

Instructions

Cut your chocolate in small pieces and melt in the microwave or over bain-marie. Stir so it doesn't stick in the pan. Once well melted add the cream and continue stirring until all is well mixed together. 
Place in a bowl and in the fridge for about 2 hours, make sure your mixture doesn't solidify completely, you want to be able to make little balls with your hands. 
Take the chocolate mixture off the fridge and make little balls with your hands, roll them though the sprinkles and cover them thoroughly. Save in the fridge and enjoy as you please. Or put some in a little box and gift them with a little bow.
