Make it: Greek Mosaiko

Greek Mosaiko recipe

Mosaiko is a classic greek desert, not one of those you would think of when you think of Greece but one many many homes make pretty. It's a mix of a few ingredients, doesn't require much time and can be stored in the freezer for some days so easy to take out and offer a a treat. Not a looker, but it's a tasty recipe!

Greek Mosaiko recipe

Instructions

Prepare your cookies and walnuts: Crush your biscuits in a bowl and chop your walnuts
Melt the butter over medium heat.
Once melted, take out of heat and add sugar and cocoa. Mix very well until all ingredients are well combined.
Throw mixture over cookies and walnuts (previously placed in a bowl) and mix well.
Here you will probably need o get your hands dirty to get it all well mixed.
Layer in a flat surface a piece of plastic wrap and place half of your mixture. With your hands create a long roll (like picture) and cover well. DO the same for the other half.
Place in the freezer and let it chill. In an hour it will be ready to serve.
Can be served with ice cream or chantilly cream or just eat a small piece when you feel like it just like I do.
