Paula and her Soaps

Finally, here is my post about the fantastic Soap making course organised at El Club (brainchild of Nadia from Sietedelonce and Deborah from Dumbo)in Barcelona and taught by the one and only Paula from Olivia Soaps. I got there at 10am to find a bunch of ladies waiting, as soon as we got in I saw the smiley face of Paula, who I had never met but knew from her blog and twitter, I'm a big fan so you can imagine my excitement. The place was decorated to perfection with flowers and lovely details all around (like these chalk boards!). Soap making its an interesting mix of sensual art and physics and Paula was the greatest teacher ever.

The space was decorated to perfection with los of lovely details and througout the day there was lots of lovely food to keep us all happy and full of energy. I finally got to try the yummiest mustard ever made by Laura from La Ballena Elena and Fueron Felices (speak with her if you are getting married in Spain!). And without a hint of a doubt I tried the vert best tiramisu EVER made by Elena

The whole soap, scrub and tonner making was a great experience and Paula is a super teacher. She made everything effortless and was patient, detailed and super super sweet.

And the results! Handmade soap, that smells like anything you have smelled before and has lovely proprieties that will be ready to be used in 3 weeks. Here's a small selection that some of the girls made. It was also really nice meeting some lovely ladies, Laura and her cutest than words baby Ander, Angie from Mr. Wonderful, Berta, Montse from Tupper Craft, Angie from Pineal Studio (cant wait to see her video from the day!), Macarena from Macarena Gea, Vanesa from Ah!,  Bea from Diario de Bey, and many many more!

Massive big thanks goes to Paula for inviting me to this super day and to the ladies at El Club, for making everything so perfect!
