Guest Post: ish and chi **Where I blog from**

Hello! This is Viv from ish and chi and I am delighted to be here filling in for Helena while she enjoys her summer holiday. I write about my home, decorating ideas, DIY projects, a bit of fashion and from time to time I profess my love of the circus. I recently completed an item off my 'to do' list which ties in well with the topic Helena gave me "Where do you blog from?".

This room is my study and the plan is to blog from here once I finish setting it up. Over the weekend I hung this Harlequin wallpaper. It took me 5 hours to do on my own but I got there in the end and I am pretty happy with the results. The room receives beautiful light in the mornings and it bounces off the wallpaper highlighting the delicate gold lines of the flowers.

I am currently studying interior design and decoration and I plan to also work on my course projects from here seeing as my studio is usually covered in bits of paper and fabric. I have setup all of my materials so that they are easily accessible and somewhat organised. I have lots of plans for this room which I will write about in the coming weeks on ish and chi. I have a feeling it will become a multi-functional room - study/playroom/guest bedroom. We'll see what happens!

Thanks Helena for having me here!

  1. The wallpaper is DIVINE! I am green with envy of where you have to write, I have a hall way office space, and as we rent it is not exactly as I would have it if we owned...but it is my own little space and I love it...but yours....
