La belle vie at Ile de Re

Since I'm half Greek I had never really considered holidaying anywhere else but that's not the case anymore. The South of France must be gorgeous, Cornwall is what everyones thinks England should be and the tiny land of Ile de Re in the French Atlantic coast sounds like a dream. Oh mais oui. It's not like the South, or so they say, it's relaxing and slow. Paved little streets, jasmine scents, the ocean near by... très magnifique!

Does it get any better than that? yes, it does. It does if you stay at Hôtel de Sénéchal.

  11. Beautiful photos, I was in the Ile de Re during my honeymoon, we went by car from Catalonia to the Mont Saint Michel and decided to go visit this small island which is accessed through a very long bridge, just out of curiosity, we reached the lighthouse at the end of the island, it took 1 hour or less, and then turned around to continue our way to the Mont Saint Michel, I saw almost nothing of the island, I had no idea how wonderful it is, now I have an excuse to return one day, a greeting.
