SATC 2 London Premiere

Small update: I had such a blast! Samantha is genius! Liza Minelli rocked it!!!
---------------------------------------------------------------------
In 4 hours we are going downstairs (yes the cinema is literally downstairs) to watch, what else? SATC 2! Can't wait, like all of you I'm really exited about the frocks, the shoes, the decor, and the girls! The London premiere was on Thursday and the 4 leading ladies rocked it, literally! To be honest, I think they looked better in London than they did in NY. SJP was wearing an incredible Alexander McQueen from his S/S 2008 collection as a tribute to the late designer. Actually on the SATC premiere 2 years ago she wore the same combo, McQueen dress and a Philip Treacy hat.

Kim Cattrall in Thierry Mugler, fabulous!

Cinthia Nixon in stunning Narciso Rodriguez

Kristin Davis, dazzling in vintage Norman Norell

I know many of you had plans to watch it these days, what did you think??

  1. Can't wait to see it! Im a huge SATC fan:) I thought SJP looked amazing this year & 2 years ago in London! Like you, I thought the NY premire dresses weren't as wow as the London one!

Hope you're having a lovely weekend! xo

  9. They look amazing--I especially love what SJP and Kristen Davis are wearing! It's always so much fun to see the four girls together and analyze their gown choices. ;) Is Cynthia Nixon wearing hair extensions, though? Not sure I'm feeling that . . .

  11. I would agree - while they looked stunning in NYC, London was a step up. I especially loved Kristin Davis's dress. She really is a classic beauty. I hope you enjoyed the movie. I went on Friday and was quite pleased. =)

  15. The second film was brilliant! I think it's great how they didn't try to stretch the storylines out too much, instead it was pure fun - as SJP said, it's a romp from start to finish! P.S. Miranda looks best in the film re: fashion (I think!) Hope you've had a lovely weekend xo

  20. Am I the only person who thought this movie was horrible?! My friend and I almost walked out of the theater! It had nothing to do with the friendship, the city they love, or...I don't know... SEX. All it was was Samantha whining about menopause, Charlotte and Miranda whining about having kids (with full time help), and Carrie being even more neurotic about relationships that usual. Save your money and 2.5 hours of your life and wait for it to come out on DVD. That being said, if all you want is to watch hours of amazing outfits and glamor, this is the movie for you. They looked amazing.
